RISE is an initiative designed to empower youth to grow Resilient, Inspired, Strengthened, and Empowered. In its first year, we partnered with a Title IX middle school in Tucson, working with the school counselor to identify 40 young men who lacked consistent male role models at home and were navigating ongoing challenges at school. Genesis, along with his teammates, volunteered their time to build meaningful relationships, have candid conversations, and demonstrate what it means to RISE up. Through mentorship, skill-building, and community engagement, RISE continues to help young people transform obstacles into confidence, resilience, and hope for the future.
To be resilient is to face challenges head-on and find the strength to keep moving forward. RISE teaches young people that setbacks don’t define them—they are opportunities to grow, adapt, and discover just how strong they truly are.
Inspiration sparks possibility. Through mentorship and positive examples, RISE shows youth that they can dream beyond their circumstances and believe in their own potential. Being inspired is the first step toward building a vision for the future.
Strength is more than physical—it’s emotional, mental, and spiritual. RISE helps young people develop the confidence, discipline, and skills they need to make positive choices and carry themselves with pride and purpose.
Empowerment comes from knowing you have the tools, guidance, and support to rise above obstacles. RISE ensures every young person feels equipped and encouraged to shape their own future, with the confidence that they are capable of greatness.
